Times of the School Day
School day starts at 8.50 am and ends at 3.15 pm
In Early Years the children enter through their classroom door, where they are met by our Reception staff.
Lunch time: 11.45am - 1.00pm
At lunch time, both school lunches and packed lunches are eaten in the Hall.
End of day - 3.15 pm but at the end of the day, the children are released by a member of staff from their classroom door from 3.10 in order for parents to meet other children. Children are only released when staff have seen a familiar adult. Any changes to the pick up should be notified to the child's class teacher. A password system ensures that children are picked up by authorised adults only.
Key Stage 1 - the children enter through their classroom door, where they are met by our staff.
Break time: 10.30am - 10.45am (healthy snack is provided)
Lunch time: 12.00pm - 1.00pm
At lunchtime, school lunches are eaten in the Hall whilst packed lunches are eaten in a classroom.
At the end of the day, the children are released by their teacher.
1A, 2K and 2A are released directly from their classroom and 1K are released from the fire door between the two Year 1 classes. Children are only released when their teacher has seen a familiar adult. The class teacher should be informed of any change to the pick up arrangements.
Lower Key Stage 2 - the children enter through the block doors, where there is a member of staff on duty.
Lower Juniors' break time: 10.45 - 11.00am (please provide a healthy snack)
Lunch time - 12.15 - 1.15pm
At lunchtime, school lunches are eaten in the Hall whilst packed lunches are eaten in a classroom.
In good weather, packed lunches are taken to the picnic benches outside.
The school day ends at 3.15pm when the children are released by their teacher from the back gate, unless their parents have arranged to meet them on the KS2 Playground. It is the parents' responsibilty to let the school know of any changes to these arramgements.
Upper Key Stage 2 - the children enter through the block doors where they are expected to enter the classroom and settle to work.
Upper Juniors' break time: 10.30 - 10.45am (please provide a healthy snack)
Lunchtime - 12.30 - 1.30pm
At lunchtime, school lunches are eaten in the Hall whilst packed lunches are eaten in a classroom.
In good weather, packed lunches are taken to the picnic benches outside.
At the end of the day, the children are released by their teacher from their classrooms.
