COVID-19 protocols during the summer

If your child has a:

• high temperature

• new and persistent cough

• loss of taste or sense of smell

Book a test immediately by ringing 119.  Your child should isolate for 10 days and your household 10 days unless a negative test result is returned.

NHS Track and Trace notifies close contacts by telephone.

Isolate until date identified by NHS Track and Trace.

Collect lateral flow tests from Newbury Showground for your households

West Berkshire Council are reviewing the way they collate information regarding Covid-19 cases in order to monitor the picture in our local community and the pattern the virus is taking.

As a school we are asked to collect the following information for pupils and members of their families who are showing symptoms that require a    Covid-19 test. This is required for all children, whether in school or remote learning, and we would be grateful if parents could still continue to send this information to us:

  • Child's name and class
  • Person affected (child/parent/sibling/close contact - no other names required)
  • Symptoms and date they first appeared
  • Date of test
  • Date of result
  • Result of test (positive/negative)

Many thanks for all your help.
